When we sleep, other processes come into effect. Various hormones start being developed. Some of them are spent during a dream whereas others stock up for wakefulness time.

But, as scientists found out, during a dream the brain not only "is not switched off", but also, on the contrary, works with a time more actively, than at wakefulness. Even in a condition of a deep sleep the brain can answer external influences. They it is sometimes organic "dreams are interwoven into a plot".

The daily rhythm of most of people consists of 8 hours of a dream and 16 hours of wakefulness. But such rhythm - the habit acquired during life. A natural rhythm of the person - alternation of three-four hours of a dream and the same period of wakefulness (as at babies).
